ShortStop-HER2: 12 Months vs. 6 Months of HER2-targeted Medications for People With HER2+ Breast Ca1
Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology
Anatomic Stage I Breast Cancer AJCC v8
Anatomic Stage II Breast Cancer AJCC v8
Early Stage Breast Carcinoma
This phase III trial compares 6 months of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2
(HER2)-targeted therapy to 12 months of HER2-targeted therapy for the treatment of
HER2-positive (+) breast cancer in patients that had a pathologic complete response (pCR)
after preoperative (neoadjuvant) chemothera1 expand
This phase III trial compares 6 months of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-targeted therapy to 12 months of HER2-targeted therapy for the treatment of HER2-positive (+) breast cancer in patients that had a pathologic complete response (pCR) after preoperative (neoadjuvant) chemotherapy with trastuzumab. Trastuzumab and pertuzumab are monoclonal antibodies and forms of targeted therapy that attach to a receptor protein called HER2. HER2 is found on some cancer cells. When trastuzumab or pertuzumab attach to HER2, the signals that tell the cells to grow are blocked and the tumor cell may be marked for destruction by the body's immune system. Giving 6 months of HER2-targeted therapy may work better than giving 12 months for the treatment of HER2+ breast cancer in patients that had a pCR after neoadjuvant chemotherapy with trastuzumab. This phase 3 study will be conducted in different countries all over the world. The purpose of this study is to compare how well Rina-S works against platinum-resistant ovarian cancer compared to chemotherapy drugs that are already approved and used for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. This study is researching an experimental drug called fianlimab (also known as REGN3767), combined with another medication called cemiplimab (also known as REGN2810), called "study drugs". The study is focused on patients with a type of skin cancer known as melanoma. The aim of the study is to see how safe and effective the combination of fianlimab and cemiplimab is in treating melanoma, in comparison with the combination of two medications, relatlimab and nivolumab, commercialized under the brand name Opdualag™ and approved for the treatment of melanoma in adults and children. The study is looking at several other research questions, including: - What side effects may happen from taking the study drugs. - How much study drug is in the blood at different times. - Whether the body makes antibodies against the study drugs (which could make the drug less effective or could lead to side effects) Type: Interventional Start Date: Sep 2024 |
