Poor quality of primary care providers' vaccine recommendations lead to low adolescent human papillomavirus vaccination rates and hundreds of thousands of adolescents unnecessarily at risk for HPV-associated cancers and diseases. Though a previous provider communication intervention, called PCOM, was found to be effective for increasing adolescent HPV vaccination in primary care, its dissemination is limited by the need for significant research team involvement to teach providers how to use the intervention's components. To address this, investigators propose to develop and test a virtual version of PCOM, use mixed methods to assess contextual factors affecting its use compared to the original PCOM intervention, and develop an optimized version of PCOM for broad dissemination to increase adolescent HPV vaccination nationally. More than 30,000 participants have now enrolled into the study. With annual assessments and no end date, Enroll-HD has built a large and rich database of longitudinal clinical data and biospecimens that form the basis for studies developing tools and biomarkers for progression and prognosis, identifying clinically-relevant phenotypic characteristics, and establishing clearly defined endpoints for interventional studies. This study is open to adults who are at least 40 years old and have idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). People can participate in the study if they have a forced vital capacity (FVC) greater than or equal to 45% of the predicted value and fibrosis of 20% or more confirmed by a high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) scan. The purpose of this study is to find out if a medicine called BI 765423 can improve lung function in people with IPF. The study will compare BI 765423 with a placebo to see if there is a difference in lung capacity after 3-6 months of treatment and will also look at changes in certain markers related to lung health. Participants are put into two groups randomly, which means by chance. One group receives the study medicine, and the other group receives a placebo. Placebo looks like BI 765423 but does not contain any study medicine. The study medicine is given as an infusion into a vein every four weeks. Participants are in the study for up to 11 months. During the study, participants may continue their regular treatment for IPF. During the study they visit the study site several times for screening, treatment, and follow-up. Doctors regularly test lung function by measuring FVC and take blood samples to measure study endpoints. The results are compared between the two groups to see whether the treatment works. The doctors also check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects. Type: Interventional Start Date: Nov 2025 |

HER2-positive (+) breast cancer in patients that had a pathologic complete response (pCR)
after preoperative (neoadjuvant) chemothera1 expand
This phase III trial compares 6 months of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-targeted therapy to 12 months of HER2-targeted therapy for the treatment of HER2-positive (+) breast cancer in patients that had a pathologic complete response (pCR) after preoperative (neoadjuvant) chemotherapy with trastuzumab. Trastuzumab and pertuzumab are monoclonal antibodies and forms of targeted therapy that attach to a receptor protein called HER2. HER2 is found on some cancer cells. When trastuzumab or pertuzumab attach to HER2, the signals that tell the cells to grow are blocked and the tumor cell may be marked for destruction by the body's immune system. Giving 6 months of HER2-targeted therapy may work better than giving 12 months for the treatment of HER2+ breast cancer in patients that had a pCR after neoadjuvant chemotherapy with trastuzumab.
